Details

Ground hardening. Part of the soil that you fill for seedlings should be taken from the garden so that it immediately gets used to that soil.

The next stage is hardening by cold. To do this, seedlings up to 15 days old should be taken out to the cold at night. The temperature should be from 0 to 5 degrees. Seedlings need to stand for 4 hours. This procedure can be done 2-3 times.

Moisture hardening. Do this in sunny weather so that the water evaporates. During two days, water the seedlings abundantly so that the soil is wet to the finger. This will help the plants to adapt to the rainy summer.

Drought hardening. In warm weather, let the soil dry out completely, so that the leaves are a little stiff. After that, you can water the plant, it will quickly “come to life”. 2 times of this procedure will be enough to harden the plant.

Hardening by the sun. This is done in order for the plant to be immune to the scorching sun in the heat. To do this, on sunny days, take out the seedlings first for 20-30 minutes, then for 1 hour and then for 2.
