Gardeners told when to plant eggplants in open ground

Eggplants are plants that heat is needed for successful fruiting (air temperature at least +20, and soil temperature +18). This is one of the main conditions for taking seedlings and going to the garden to plant. If you do not have your own seedlings, and you are just about to buy them, then the best option is seedlings in cups: they are stronger, do not get sick, practically everything is accepted and there is less trouble with them in the future.

Details

It is best to plant eggplants in holes, the distance between which is 20-25 cm. In each hole you need to pour 2 g of calcium nitrate, a glass of humus, and then pour water. This seedling is enough for two weeks. Plant one plant at a time in the hole.

The next task is to fight the Colorado potato beetle. By the way, you can do this for the first time when the seedlings are still in cups: then it should be poured under the root with a special agent against striped pests.
