Ammonium nitrate, manure, wood ash and chicken droppings are suitable for this. Before applying fertilizers, it is necessary to water the ground thoroughly.

Currants can suffer from viral and fungal diseases, and they can also be affected by pests. Then you need to process the bushes from pests or diseases. If it is not possible to identify the reasons, then it is necessary to carry out sanitary pruning, cutting out all damaged branches.
