A gastroenterologist explained why you should not eat cereals for breakfast.
According to the doctor, it is breakfast that forms the body's food reactions for the entire next day. And cereals, if they contain sugar or fruit, raise the level of glucose and insulin, due to which a person wakes up hungry and wants to eat sweets more often.
– No cereals for breakfast and no fruits. Moreover, no cake for breakfast, the doctor stressed.
You need to eat protein for breakfast, otherwise “there will be no motivation, purposefulness, etc.,” she added. The doctor recommends starting the day with an omelette, pates, sandwiches with fish or vegetables with meat.
As previously reported, doctors suggested a simple dish for breakfast, which will help balance the blood sugar level and avoid its spikes during the day .
This is an ordinary scrambled egg – a hearty protein option. It is best to prepare an omelet or scrambled eggs with the addition of vegetables, for example, tomatoes, zucchini, bell pepper.
