French neurologists found out that the tingles that run through the body from listening to your favorite music have a positive effect on the brain.
Scientists scanned the brains of volunteers while listening to music and found out that at the time of the appearance of tingles on the skin the test subjects recorded an increase in the electrical activity of the organ.
In particular, the positive effect of the favorite track was noted in the areas of the brain responsible for controlling human movements, analyzing emotional information, sounds and music perception. The joint work of these areas of the brain stimulates the production of the hormone of good mood – dopamine.
