Grated cake with apples and cinnamon – a unique taste and aroma

Ingredients:
- 150 g butter
- 300 g flour
- 1.5 tsp. baking powder
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 tbsp. sour cream
- 150 g sugar⠀
Filling:
5 apples
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
zest of one orange
juice of half an orange

Preparation:
Sift flour with baking powder into a bowl, add cold butter and rub into crumbs. Then put the egg yolks, sour cream and sugar and knead the dough. Divide it into two parts, wrap 1/3 of the dough in cling film and put in the freezer.

Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Melt a piece of butter in a frying pan, add the apples, add sugar, cinnamon, zest and juice and simmer for a few minutes.

Roll out the dough and put it in the form. On top, spread the apples and cover with the dough from the freezer. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35 minutes. Delicious!
