Health problems are often hidden behind increased frostbite

Doctor: chills, which are felt even at a comfortable temperature, can signal hidden health problems.
The doctor's interview listed the medical causes of increased chills, which can occur even in a fairly warm environment:
“A person has a feeling that they are very cold, although there are no objective reasons for freezing.”
According to the doctor, one of the reasons for such hypersensitivity to cold is anemia, which is characterized by iron deficiency or low hemoglobin in the blood. With anemia, there is a delay in blood delivery – as a response, the body dilates the blood vessels. At the same time, rapid heat transfer occurs, which contributes to chills.
A person can also be constantly cold due to a lack of vitamins A and E, saturated fats. These components are necessary for the normal functioning of the liver, which is responsible for heating the blood.
Continuing, the doctor noted that increased chills (especially in women) often hide problems with the thyroid gland. This organ produces hormones that affect metabolism. If the activity of the gland decreases, hypofunction, hypothyroidism develops, which entails processes of reducing hormone production and, with them, metabolic processes. When metabolism slows down, a person freezes.
In addition, diabetes affects the condition of the vessels responsible for blood supply and the associated feeling of warmth. This disease is characterized by peripheral neuropathy, which means vascular damage in “remote” areas of the body. In this case, the feet may be constantly cold.
