Speaking of the signs of cirrhosis that are most often missed because of it, scientists mention itchy skin, loss of appetite, easy bruising, low energy level with rapid fatigue.
They emphasize, that the symptoms of pathology may differ in different people, and in the initial stage, cirrhosis may develop almost without symptoms. In fact, experts say, in order to detect the disease in a timely manner, you should consult a doctor in case of any health problems.
When cirrhosis progresses, its symptoms become more specific. Specialists listed them:
“Fluid accumulation in the abdomen (ascites), stones in the gall bladder, yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice), kidney failure, loss of muscle mass, vascular stars on the skin, confusion due to accumulation of toxins in the blood”.
