High blood pressure: doctors name several signs that should not be ignored

High blood pressure cannot be ignored, as it can cause dangerous complications for a person.

Blood pressure is defined as the force acting on organs and blood vessels when blood is pumped around the body by the heart.

“Blood pressure readings between 120 over 80 and 140 over 90 may mean that you are at risk of developing high blood pressure if you do not take steps to keep it under control,” the report says. NHS.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) says high blood pressure rarely has noticeable symptoms, although there are some signs it can still be noticed. One of the key symptoms of high blood pressure is blurred vision, doctors say.

Other possible symptoms include

  • nosebleeds,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chest pain,
  • dizziness,
  • headache.

The foundation's experts stress that these symptoms should not be ignored. They also point out that many people with high blood pressure may feel completely fine. To detect a problem, adults should regularly check their blood pressure, regardless of how they feel.
