Houseplants will become greener if you follow these 4 rules when transplanting

When a plant loses its strength for growth, it needs to be transplanted. At this point, you can determine what is happening to it, what condition the root system is in, and also plan further care.

Pay attention to the roots

When transplanting plants, you need to choose soil from an earthen lump with roots. It is not left. In addition, the roots need to be straightened. Simply taking it from one pot and moving it to another doesn't work.

Drainage

Whether to use it or not depends on the size of the plant. For small pots, there is less need. For large plants, a drainage layer in the pot is a must. You can use, for example, foam glass.

No tamping

You don't need to press the soil into the pot with your hands. Pour in the right amount. Then just tap the pot on the surface a few times. This will be enough for the soil to be tamped down to the right extent. You can just tap the pot with your hands.

Watering

A few hours after transplanting the plant, water it. Make a solution with fungicide and anti-stress. This way the plant will adapt faster to new conditions.
