Use of rice water in growing cucumber seedlings, as well as adult pumpkin plants of open and closed soil has the following effects:

The recipe for rice water is as simple as possible:
- grind a handful of brown or white unsteamed rice in a coffee grinder;
- pour 1 teaspoon of rice flour mixed with a liter of boiling water (10 teaspoons of white powder is needed for a standard bucket of water for feeding greenhouse or garden cucumbers);
- let the liquid feeding infuse for a day;
- Before watering the plants under the root, vigorously shake the sediment.
Tips for using rice fertilizer for cucumbers and other pumpkin crops
The prepared microfertilizer is used when growing cucumbers, starting from the stage of formation of the first true leaf, 2 times a month.
Seedlings are watered under the root with syringe or a large syringe on wet ground (it is most convenient to plan the procedure for the morning after evening watering).
Adult bushes are fertilized with an infusion of ground rice every 2 weeks at the rate of 0.5 l per plant. Like all root fertilizers, rice infusion is applied after rain or scheduled watering, i.e. on wet soil.
In addition to cucumbers, rice infusion can be used to feed zucchini, squash and pumpkins. The consumption of the working solution is 0.8 l for each adult plant. Root feeding – every 12 days.
