How dangerous can regular white bread be?

When buying regular white bread, you should pay attention to the composition. Bakers often add the additive E927a to the dough, which gives the product porosity and a beautiful, even white color, but at the same time causes allergies.

Despite the fact that Australia, the European Union, and Ukraine prohibit the use of E927a in the production of bakery products, many countries continue to add it to the dough and export such products.

Azodicarbonamide (ADA) is a whitening agent and dough conditioner used in baking. It is called a “flour improver”.

The chemical is also used in the processing of leather goods and the production of plastics.

Doctors believe that E927a provokes the development of asthma and is an allergen.

Some fast food restaurants in the US, including Subway and Wendy’s, publicly announced that they had stopped using ADA after the public began to discuss the dangers of this substance when consumed.
