How healthy habits can harm the body, doctors told

Eating properly and moving a lot- useful for health, doctors remind. However, some perceive such advice as a “challenge” and abuse healthy habits.
Experts told what an “too” healthy lifestyle can lead to.
Salad
“Lettuce leaves are an excellent low-calorie food. However, it is impossible to do without greens alone,” said nutritionist Sophie Medlin. Salad cannot provide the body with all the nutrients necessary for health, such as proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats.
In excess, salad can even disrupt digestion and, in extreme cases, make it difficult to absorb other important nutrients , for example, iron. “If salad makes up more than 50% of your diet, it's time to rethink your diet,” the expert added.
Water
A person needs to drink clean water during the day. However, don't force yourself to drink a lot of water, or it can lead to a decrease in electrolytes such as sodium and potassium in the bloodstream, Madeline said. She did not recommend drinking more than 2.5 liters of water per day.
Sleep
Healthy sleep is also one of the most important elements of the human condition. Doctor Tim Bond has warned that sleeping too long can be dangerous to your health. According to him, people who sleep from 9 to 11 hours a day are 21% more likely to become diabetic, and their risk of coronary heart disease increases by 38%. The expert recommends sleeping no more than 7-9 hours a day.
Vitamins
Vitamins, like other supplements, should be taken only after consulting a doctor. Taking too many vitamins can cause health problems, says nutritionist Kerry Ruxton. In particular, vitamin D in excess causes nausea, and with long-term improper intake can affect bone health.
