The weather forecast for autumn 2024 will delight Ukrainians with warmth. Autumn promises to be a little rainy, especially at the beginning of the season. The average temperature may be two degrees higher than in the last decade.

“Autumn will allow the Ukrainian energy industry to heal many wounds from Russian missile and drone strikes on critical infrastructure. The cold will not come by surprise, especially in the first half of the new season,” says Balabukh.
According to the calculations of forecast centers of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Japan, and the European Center for Medium-Term Forecasts, it is expected that autumn 2024 year in Ukraine will probably be warm and dry.
Such weather conditions will be characteristic especially for the first half of autumn. The average air temperature for the season can be 2 °C higher, compared to the last decades and range from +13..+14 °C in the south of the country to +10 °C in the north and northeast.< /p>
“According to climate forecasts, further changes in the weather will mean that the air temperature will rise significantly in autumn and the duration of summer will increase.This time of year already starts two or three weeks earlier and lasts two or three weeks longer than at the end of the last century,” says the meteorologist.
September in Ukraine will be a “summer” month in a large part of the country. The average daily air temperature during the month is expected to be 2-3 °C higher than normal and will exceed +15 °C — the temperature limit between summer and autumn. Deficit precipitation will persist throughout Ukraine, especially in Podillya.
It is expected that Octoberit will also be warm in Ukraine, and the average temperature for the month may be 2 °C higher than the climatic norm and will range from +9 °C in the northeast of the country to +13 °C and higher in the south.
Cooling can be expected in Ukraine approximately from October 8. During the day it will still be +10 °C and a little higher, but at night it will be only +2 °C in some places.
In the middle of October, we expect a summer summer, when it warms up to +17 °C again .
The temperature can be quite comfortable until the 10th of November. Then – a sharp cooling and even frost. Also in in November the average monthly air temperature may be 1 °C higher than the norm, and the amount of precipitation – within the normal range.
“Significant anomalies in the average monthly air temperature indicate that during the month the average in a day, the air temperature will probably be higher than the average long-term values during the last thirty years. However, such abnormally high temperatures will not be observed every day. The lowest temperatures will be observed in the highlands of the Carpathians and the Crimean Mountains,” said Vera Balabukh.
