How much will a holiday near the Black Sea cost: prices, beaches and entertainment in Koblevo

Clean sea, sandy beaches and many entertainments attract thousands of tourists every year not only from Ukraine, but also from abroad. 

Cost of housing

Koblevo offers a wide selection of housing for every taste and budget. From budget rooms without amenities to comfortable hotels. What is characteristic of Koblevo is the absence of the private sector in the resort area. Therefore, accommodation prices are usually lower than in other Black Sea resorts. The cost depends on the season, the distance to the beach and the level of comfort.

So, on average, a “standard” room for two in a hotel or recreation center will cost about a thousand hryvnias per night.

Hotel “Pearl” offers a room for two for UAH 1,650-1,800 in July-August, and at the end of the season the price will drop to UAH 985.

At the Dolphin Hotel, a “standard” room for two will cost UAH 1,450-1,550 during the season, in September the rooms will cost about UAH 840.

Khutorok Camping offers a double room for UAH 900-1,400, later it will cost half as much – UAH 500-600.

In the Mykolaiv boarding house, a “standard” for 2 people costs UAH 1,280 in July-August, and UAH 680 in September.

In general, a budget option there will be a hostel. A room for two with a shared bathroom will cost no more than UAH 400 in the season, and UAH 220-385 later.

Beaches

Koblevo has a seven-kilometer beach zone. Unlike many other resorts, all Koblevo beaches are free. They are sandy and have a gentle entrance to the sea. This makes vacation here especially attractive for families with children.

Entertainment and infrastructure

Rest in Koblevo is not only the beach. Here you can go water skiing, scooter, try diving, visit a dolphinarium. Horseback riding and fishing are available for lovers of a relaxing holiday. The resort is also famous for one of the largest water parks in Ukraine.

There are many establishments on the coast of Koblevo: from cozy cafes to noisy clubs. For lovers of educational recreation, there are excursions to wineries, nature reserves, and historical cities.

Near the sea, you can not only have a good time, but also get healthy. Sea bathing, sunbathing, therapeutic sea air in combination with phytoncides of pine forest, which is spread over the territory of the resort. Tyligulsky estuary is located in the neighborhood of Koblev, where there is a source of healing mud.

The difference between the Ukrainian and Moldovan zones

Kobleve can be divided into two zones, each of which has its own special atmosphere. The Moldavian zone is a place for lovers of nightlife and active recreation. Most of the resort's entertainment facilities are located here.

The Ukrainian part, on the contrary, is quieter and calmer, ideal for family vacations. Historically, the development of the resort began in the Moldavian part, hence its name.

How to get to Koblevo

Koblevo does not have direct rail connections with populated areas of Ukraine. However, you can get there by bus.

If it is convenient to go by train, you can get to Mykolaiv or Odesa by train from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro and other cities. And then – by buses or shuttle taxis. It is about 60 km from Odesa, and 83 km from Mykolaiv.

You can also go on your own auto. For example, it is 526 km from Kyiv to Koblevo, and 647 km from Kharkiv, and even less from Dnipro — 404 km.
