They say early symptoms of stomach cancer can resemble dyspepsia or indigestion, a condition in which the affected person feels discomfort in the upper part of the abdomen after eating: at the same time, he complains of bloating, a feeling of overeating, distension and pressure in the stomach, nausea, excess. gas in the stomach. Doctors clarify:
“In case of stomach cancer, dyspepsia can be provoked by even a small meal”.
Also, doctors say, a feeling of satiety that occurs too early, together with with a full stomach, even if a person eats modest portions.
Experts reminded that with this disease, the inner lining of the stomach is damaged – excess weight, inactivity, alcohol consumption, smoking and unhealthy diet can affect such damage. Studies have found an increased risk of developing stomach cancer after frequent consumption of rice, salted meat, stewed meat, white bread and crushed potatoes.
