How to care for cashmere sweaters so they serve longer

1. Do not wash after each wearing

The exception is appropriate if the product is decorated with buttons, metal decor, embroidery or beads – in this case it makes sense to follow the instructions on the label.

3. Wash your hands and only in cold water

Ordinary powders and liquid powders are too stiff for cashmere, so use a soft detergent, a good organic shampoo, or a bio -decomposition product for washing wool.

How is it done? Pour into the pelvis of water, add a couple of tablespoons of shampoo and dip the sweater there. Warm, and even more hot washing will reduce the sweater in size faster than you think, so make sure that the water is cool. Remove the product in the pelvis for about a minute and leave for half an hour. Drain the dirty water and rinse in clean water. Be very careful with push -ups: wet fibers are easily deformed. Carefully squeeze the water and collect the sweater in the ball with love (imagine that it is a very expensive pizza dough). To avoid shrinkage, select a delicate cycle and make sure that the water temperature is minimal and the spin speed is reduced as much as possible.

4. Do not hang, but spread

Cashmir is sensitive when the fibers are wet, so you need to be especially careful. Unfortunately, it is a long time sweater can dry for a few days, so be patient. Carefully squeeze the water, put the sweater on a dry towel and rotate gently. As soon as the towel absorbs as much moisture, spread the thing for drying, but not in the sun! Hanging on a rope, dryer or shoulders is also not recommended – as a result you will get pulled sleeves or “horns” on your shoulders, which is absolutely nothing.

5. Use the evaporator instead of the iron

as you have already absorbed, the heat is dangerous for wool, so you do not need to browse the thing after drying – the iron presses the fibers. A good evaporator is ours. The couple will loosen the yarn and refresh a clean sweater to the state of “purchased”.

6. Regularly remove the spools

natural fiber knitted products have the ability to form fluffy balls in places where friction occurs – for example, under the armpits or where you wear your handbag. Get rid of unattractive spools using a shaving machine, sticky tape for a pile or a special device.

7. Wash before long storage

Be sure to wash and dry your sweaters at the end of the season. Reason? Moth. You may seem that he is completely clean, wearing a once, but the moth has a different point of view on this. Any cell of your skin, sweat or perfume means an honorable picnic for harmful insects. To drive away unwanted insects, we recommend that you have a full -fledged spa: wash, peel, boil and carefully fold.

8. Store carefully folded

Always fold and never hang sweaters for storage. With prolonged storage, avoid plastic containers where miles can multiply safely. We recommend storage of cotton bags because they “breathe”, prevent humidity and protect against insects.

9. Get rid of moths

as soon as you notice tiny holes in your sweater, it's time to beat. Develop the cabinet, brush the vacuum cleaner, spray the aerosol from pests and do in staged washing.
