You just need to put the egg in a container with cold water.

– If the egg lies horizontally on the bottom, then this is a sign of a very fresh egg, – explains nutritionist Oleksandra Razarenova.

If the egg is raised at an angle or balances above the bottom, it is an egg not the first freshness – it is better to boil it cold. If the egg floats, then it is definitely spoiled.

— The fact is that inside the egg there is a liquid medium. Over time, moisture evaporates through the micropores. And her place fills the air. “The more air there is, the higher the egg floats,” said Razorenova.

Examine the entrails

To do this, you need to break at least one raw egg from the batch. In a fresh product, the yolk is convex, and the viscous protein is tightly gathered around it. A flat yolk means that we have a dependent product.

The life hack is related to the properties of eggs: over time, the protein compounds lose contact with each other, says the expert.

Shake

And listen to the sounds inside the shell. If you hear bubbling, it means that a lot of air has formed in the egg – it has been stored for a long time and may already be stale. If there are no sounds, the product can be safely used.
