Cleaning a pan can be a real test for many. There are rare situations when, when cleaning the pan, scratches remain that spoil its appearance.
Details
This happens due to the use of chemicals or hard scouring pads. Therefore, it is worth considering a few tips that will help you get rid of dirt more effectively, without leaving scratches.
Natural cleaners
The first step to perfectly clean pans is to use natural cleaners. The most popular ones include:
- Soda.
- Lemon juice.
- Vinegar.
Just mix the soda with a small amount of water to form a paste and apply to the stained areas.
Lemon juice or vinegar also works well on various stains and limescale deposits.
Both should be applied to the stain for approx. 5 minutes, and then they must be washed in warm water.
How to use special detergents
If natural products do not cope with the task, you can use specialized ones. They are more effective, but you should be careful when choosing them.
You cannot use chemicals that have abrasive parts. You should also read the instructions before use, the manufacturer does not specify them by accident.
Do not use metal brushes
Metal brushes can leave scratches on the surface of the pans. Instead, nylon or silicone brushes are perfect, which effectively remove dirt without damaging the surface.
It is better to abandon metal brushes in your kitchen altogether. They leave damage on pots and other objects.
