How to cook a real goulash so that it is hearty and tasty

Goulash is made from pieces of veal or beef, which are fried in a pan with onions.

You can fry potatoes separately and combine with meat, add vegetables – tomatoes and sweet peppers, broth, and then simmer until readiness.

There are many recipes for making a delicious dish, one of them is the simplest and most delicious.

Take 500-600 g of veal and cut it into cubes. Fry the meat in lard or oil until golden brown.

Peel 3 cloves of garlic, 2 pcs. onions and 1 carrot, finely chop and combine with the meat, continue to fry for 7-10 minutes over low heat.

Now it's the turn of spices and herbs: add paprika and cumin or other spices to taste – whatever you like.

Cook the meat with vegetables in a deep saucepan or frying pan for 20-25 minutes, periodically adding water.

Pour boiling water over a few tomatoes, remove the skin and send them to the pan to the meat, as well as a few potatoes, cut into pieces.

Add the bay leaf and simmer until cooked for another 20 minutes.
