Who said that do you need a whole day for a delicious barbecue? If it's not barbecue season outside or it's raining a lot, but you really want fried meat, a barbecue in the oven is a great solution. And most importantly – in just 30 minutes!
In addition, cooking shish kebab in the oven allows you to preserve all the juices inside the meat, making it no less juicy than on coals. And with the right marinade, you won't even notice the difference! The only thing is that the oven will not provide the aroma of smoke.
For a quick barbecue, you need to take:
- 500 g of pork or chicken
- 2 onions
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Salt, pepper, favorite spices for meat

For quick marinating, cut the meat into small pieces, this will help it soak in the marinade faster. Combine meat with oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, add salt, pepper and spices. Add the onion cut into rings and mix everything well, the onion will also give its juice and soften the fibers. Leave to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Place the pieces of meat on skewers or place them on a wire rack, put in an oven heated to 220°C. Do not forget to put a baking sheet under the grate so that the juice does not fall to the bottom of the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes, periodically turning the pieces. The finished shish kebab is juicy, aromatic and with a crispy crust.
