How to cook bean cutlets with mushroom sauce

You can cook cutlets not only with meat. Legume dishes with the addition of mushrooms are a win-win option for a tasty and healthy dinner, for example. You can use any kind of beans, as well as mushrooms of your choice – wild or store-bought.

Products for cooking

You will need the following:

  • beans – 2 tbsp.;
  • white bread – 50 g;
  • milk – ΒΌ tbsp.;
  • chicken eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • dried mushrooms – 20 g;
  • flour – 1 tbsp.;
  • breadcrumbs – 2 tbsp.;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.;
  • mushroom broth – 2 tbsp.;
  • onion β€” 1 pc.;
  • butter β€” 2 tbsp.

Cooking process

The beans should be boiled. Soak the bread in milk. Then pass everything through a meat grinder. Add raw eggs and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Form bean cutlets, bread them in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with vegetable oil.

Let's move on to the sauce. Fry the flour with a piece of butter. Then gradually add the mushroom broth, in which the mushrooms were previously boiled. Cook the sauce for 15-20 minutes.

Fry the chopped onion separately. Add the mushrooms, finely chopped. Fry everything together and transfer to the main sauce. Add salt, you can add black ground pepper. Let everything simmer for a few minutes and you can turn off the heat.
