How to cook brains with potatoes

Brains are a specific product. You need to know how to cook them. They taste oily with a fairly dense consistency. Dishes made from brains are considered a delicacy. Ingredients

For the casserole you will need the following list of ingredients:

  • veal brains – 75 g;
  • meat – 100 g;
  • potatoes – 150 g;
  • sour cream – 25 g;
  • chicken egg – 1 pc.;
  • hard cheese – 50 g;
  • butter – 20 g;
  • salt, black pepper;
  • parsley.

How to cook casserole

First, you need to boil the brains. Then remove the film from them, divide into pieces and season with salt, pepper, parsley.

The potatoes and meat should be boiled and cut into cubes. Mix the egg yolk with sour cream, and beat the egg white into foam.

All the components should be combined in one container and add the egg white foam. Now take a mold, grease it with a little oil and put the mixture in it. Sprinkle with cheese on top and put small pieces of butter. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Before serving, it is recommended to pour melted butter. You can flavor it with garlic and pepper.
