How to cook budget fish spread with herring

Have you been cooking herring spread for a long time? Have you ever tried such a snack? Herring spread is great on sandwiches, and some people eat it with spoons. For the base, you will need herring, butter, boiled eggs and a little mustard or lemon juice for taste. The ingredients are harmoniously combined, creating a creamy texture with a rich taste of fish.
For one portion you need to take:
- 1 herring fillet (about 200 g)
- 100 g of butter
- 2 boiled eggs
- 1 tsp. mustard or a few drops of lemon juice for acidity
- 1/2 small onion (finely chopped) or green onion for additional taste
To prepare, all the ingredients must be chopped and mixed well in a blender. It is important to leave the spread in the refrigerator for several hours so that it infuses and all the flavors are better revealed.
Tip: for a more expressive taste, you can add a little grated onion. But remember that an excess of onion can overpower the delicate taste of herring, so you should add it carefully.
