
How to cook delicious and soft bacon in brine

Traditional Ukrainian product-fat, unchanged everyday product on our table. Try an unusual recipe that involves salting bacon not in the standard way, but in brine. Preparation
- first prepare the brine. For each liter of water take 5 tablespoons of salt, 5 cloves of garlic, 2-3 bay leaves, 10 peas of fragrant and black pepper. Add seasonings and spices. Cover the pan and allow the water to cool completely. The proportions are as follows: 1 liter of water for every 0.5 kg of fat.
- Cut the fat into small pieces. Then spread them on the jars, trying to do it as tightly as possible.
- then fill the fat with cold brine, sealed with nylon lids and put in the refrigerator for salting.
- in 3-4 days you can taste. The pieces are dried with paper towels and then “wrapped” in a food film and stored in the freezer. Alternatively, you can rub with chopped garlic before serving.
