How to cook delicious corn in milk

The recipe will turn a yellow cob into a real work of culinary art. For many, a favorite dish will reveal a new taste, which may become the most favorite.

What you need for cooking

You will need 6 cobs of corn. They should not be peeled, but in a leaf wrapper. When choosing corn, you should follow the rule: the younger it is, the tastier and sweeter it is.

In addition to corn, you will also need 400 ml of milk, 150 g of natural butter, 1 tbsp. l. sugar and salt. As equipment, you will need a 3-5 l saucepan and culinary tongs.

The corn is cleaned of the leaf wrapper. Rinse well. However, the leaf wrapper is not thrown away, but washed and left for cooking.

Put the leaf wrapper in a saucepan, then the cob, pour 3 l of water and add 1 tbsp. l. sugar and 1 tsp. l. salt. Put on the fire and bring to a boil.

After boiling, add 400 ml of milk, stir a little and bring to a boil again. After boiling again, add butter and reduce the heat so that the liquid simmers.

Young corn is boiled for 10-15 minutes. Mature ears are boiled for 30-40 minutes. During the cooking process, the ears are turned over and made sure that they are completely submerged in the liquid.
