Golubki can be prepared not only with rice and yasom, as most people traditionally imagine it. You can significantly expand the horizons of taste. Try cooking with fish. According to the basic recipe, pike perch is used, but you can replace it with another available to you.
Ingredients
The following products are required for preparation:
- zander (fillet) – 700 g;
- cabbage – 700 g;
- white bread – 1 slice;
- onion – 1 pc.;
- water – 2 glasses;
- salt, pepper.
How to cook cabbage rolls
Fish must be passed through a meat grinder. Or you can cook the fillet in another way available to you. The fish is passed along with bread soaked in water.
Cut the onion and fry it in oil. Add to fish mince. To make it tasty, add salt and ground black pepper. You can also twist it again with minced meat so that the mass is softer and more uniform.
Prepare the cabbage leaves. It is advisable to keep them in boiling water for a few minutes so that it is easier to wrap the minced meat in them. Wrap them in the form of cabbage rolls. Place in a baking dish, cover with water and put in the oven. This type of stew is tastier than cooking on the stove.
You can serve such cabbage rolls with a sauce made simply from oil and garlic. Delicious!
