How to cook juicy liver cutlets

Liver cutlets are a delicious alternative to traditional meat cutlets, which impresses with its simplicity of preparation. They are not only tasty, but also very healthy, because the liver is rich in vitamins A and B, iron and folic acid.

Ingredients for liver cutlets:

  • 500 g of liver (beef, chicken or pork)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 egg
  • 3-4 tablespoons of semolina or flour
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

First, prepare the liver – clean it of the films and cut into pieces. Grind the liver in a blender or pass it through a meat grinder together with the onion and carrot.

Add the egg, semolina or flour, salt and pepper. Mix well to make the mass homogeneous. If the mixture is too liquid, let it stand for 10-15 minutes so that the semolina absorbs the moisture.

Form small cutlets and fry them in a heated pan on both sides until golden brown.
