How to cook lazy dumplings with cheese

Lazy dumplings with cheese are the perfect dish for those who value simplicity cooking and at the same time loves home cooking. Ingredients for lazy dumplings with cheese:
- 500 g of sour milk cheese
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 150-200 g of flour
- a pinch of salt

To start, in a deep bowl, mix the cheese with egg, sugar and salt. The cheese should be crumbly, if it is too wet – squeeze it slightly. Gradually add the flour until the dough is soft and slightly sticky, but still holds its shape well.
Prepare a floured work surface and divide the dough into several pieces. From each part, form a sausage with a diameter of about 2 cm and cut it into small pieces.
Boil water in a saucepan with a pinch of salt. Drop the dumplings into the water and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes after they float to the surface.
Serve the lazy dumplings hot with butter or sour cream. If desired, you can add berries or jam for a sweet option.
