How to cook lean cabbage rolls with potatoes and mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 cabbage
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 0.5 kg of mushrooms

For the sauce:

tomato paste
salt, pepper, garlic, sugar

Steam the cabbage, remove the leaves from the cabbage, cut off the hard part on the leaf. Finely chop the mushrooms and onion and fry.

Peel the potatoes and grate them on a fine grater. Squeeze the juice from the potatoes, add spices and seasoning. Mix thoroughly. Spoon the filling onto each cabbage leaf (half) and roll up the cabbage rolls.

Place several cabbage leaves on the bottom of a casserole or baking dish, place the cabbage rolls on top and pour the sauce over them, and cover with the leaves and foil on top. Place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 1.5 hours. Enjoy!
