How to cook lightly salted mackerel using a dry method

Ingredients
For cooking, you will need the following products:
- mackerel – 3-4 pcs.;
- oil – 250 ml;
- bay leaves;
- allspice peas;
- onion – 2-3 pcs.;
- salt.
How to cook
The mackerel must be cleaned. Cut off the tail, head, fins. Don't forget to remove the black film so that the fish doesn't turn bitter later. Rinse the fish and cut it in half.
Salt the fish on all sides. Also, pour salt on the bottom of the container that will contain the fish. Place the mackerel on the salt, cover with a lid, and refrigerate for one day.
Rinse the finished fish from the salt. Cut it into portioned pieces. Now put a layer of chopped onions in the jar, then the fish, and tamp it down to the very top. Pour oil over it and cover with a lid. This way, the mackerel can be stored in the refrigerator. It is ready to eat, but when it is infused, it will be much tastier. Enjoy!
