How to cook meatballs: mistakes that housewives make when preparing gravy
To prepare meatballs from minced meat, it is better to choose chicken. Each hostess has her own tricks that allow them not to fall apart and turn out juicy and tender.
Ingredients (for 6-8 meatballs):
- medium-sized chicken fillet, breast without skin;
- rice – 2/3 cup;
- onion – a small head;
- egg – 1 large;
- salt , freshly ground pepper, herbs to taste;
- sour cream, water, vegetable oil.
Cooking recipe
It is not necessary to take the fillet itself, but it is the most dietary.
The rice for the recipe must be boiled in advance, and it is better if it is spreadable rice, then the structure of the meatballs will be uniform and tender.
Grind the chicken fillet and onion in meat grinders or blenders. We thoroughly mix the meat, rice and onion. Add egg and spices and mix again. We mold rice and meat dumplings.
Pour a little oil on a heated pan, just enough so that the meatballs do not stick tightly to the bottom of the pan.
Lay out the dumplings, make a small fire, cover with a lid .
In a few minutes, prepare the filling: mix water with a small amount of sour cream or cream (not fatty, just whiten the water), pour the meatballs so that they are half covered. You can spread a little sour cream on top of the meatballs. Everything remains to be stewed.
