How to cook pickled beets with black currants

This recipe can be called unusual, because it is not often you hear about the combination of beets and black currants. Try making this type of winter snack.
Ingredients
To prepare, you need to prepare the following components:
- beets — 1 kg;
- black currants — 250 g;
- water — 1 l;
- 6% vinegar — 80 ml;
- sugar — 80 g;
- salt — 35 g;
- cloves — 10 pcs.;
- allspice — 8 pcs.;
- cinnamon — 1 p.
How to cook
For pickling, it is better to take young beets. Wash and boil for 40 minutes. The finished root vegetables should be cooled and cut into cubes 1 by 1 cm.
Also prepare the blackcurrants. Sort them, wash them and mix them with the beets. Place the mixture in jars, on the bottom of which spices are previously laid out.
Put water on the fire. Bring to a boil. Dissolve salt and sugar, add vinegar. Pour the marinade into the jars. Then sterilize them at 100 degrees. If the jars are 0.5 l, sterilize for 8 minutes. If they are liter, then for 10-15 minutes. Delicious!
