How to cook pilaf with mushrooms, dried apricots and lemon

Pilov is a dish that sometimes likes experiments. We offer to prepare pilaf, the highlight of which will be mushrooms, dried apricots and lemon.

Details

Products that will be needed:

  • 500 g of fresh mushrooms
  • 400 g of pork (can be chicken)
  • 3 onions
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 garlic
  • < li>Spices to taste

  • 300 g of rice
  • 100 g of dried apricots
  • Half of a lemon

1. Cut the mushrooms and meat into pieces, it is preferable not to cut them into small pieces, so that the meat retains its juiciness. Mushrooms – into quarters or plates, depending on the size of the mushrooms you have.
2. Stew the meat with mushrooms, add a finely chopped onion, after 5 minutes – carrots cut into strips and dried apricots, stew everything until a delicious crust.< br> 3. Pour 600-700 ml of hot water into the cast-iron cauldron or pan where everything was stewed, and add raw rice and the juice of half a lemon.
4. Bring the delicacy to a boil, simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat, add spices to taste and simmer for another 5 minutes.
5. Peel the head of garlic, leaving the last layer unpeeled. We put it on top of our dish, cover it, turn it off and leave the dish to steam for one hour.
