How to cook tomatoes in the original marinade

The marigolds are fluttering outside the window… Mom said that these colorful flowers exactly when the tomatoes are ripening, so it is necessary to cover “a few” (that means at least ten) jars in this original marinade.

We give the recipe for one three-liter jar:

At the bottom of the jar, put horseradish leaves (1 pc.), currants (5 pcs.), a small bunch of greens (dill and parsley), onion cut into rings (1-2 pcs.), 3-4 fresh marigold flowers. Fill the jar with tomatoes.

Boil 1.5 liters of water and pour the tomatoes. When the water cools down a little, pour it into a pan, add 1 tbsp. l. salt, 5 tbsp. l. sugar, 5 tbsp. l. vinegar (preferably apple), add 100 ml of water and put it on the fire to boil.

Pour the boiled marinade to the top of the jars, twist them, turn them over. And in winter we enjoy the original taste of tomatoes with marigolds!
