How to defrost a large piece of meat without hot water or a microwave

A simple method that will allow you to defrost a large piece of meat from the freezer in 10 minutes. You don't have to use hot water or a microwave for this. The method is suitable for meat, but also fish, chicken, and minced meat. Using hot water and a microwave oven is often associated with the fact that the product will be “digested” and turn white.

How to quickly defrost meat

You will need sugar. Many do not believe that this product helps in defrosting meat, but it turns out that the method works.

In warm water, the temperature of which does not exceed 40 degrees, you should dissolve 1 tbsp. l. of sugar. After that, the frozen product that needs to be defrosted is lowered into this water.

The product is placed in water without packaging (bag, paper).

On average, meat (chicken, minced meat, etc.) is defrosted in 8-10 minutes. Thanks to this method, the taste and texture of the products are preserved. And the most important advantage is that it defrosts quite quickly.
