Ingredients:
1 herring
1 onion
700 ml of water
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. l. vinegar
2 bay leaves
8 black peppercorns
Preparation:
Pour 500 ml of water into a saucepan and dissolve the salt in it. Place the prepared, cleaned and chopped fish in this solution and leave it to lie in this solution for an hour. In the meantime, cut the onion into rings.
Then transfer the herring to a container with onion, oil, vinegar and spices. Close the lid and put in the refrigerator for 24 hours. After that, you can enjoy the herring. Delicious!
