1. Calculate the dose. Alcohol allowed by doctors is 8 ml of alcohol per day. This means that without problems an adult body can process 150 ml of wine or 30 ml of strong alcohol per day. And keep in mind that the principle of “refrain from alcohol all week, and then drink a whole bottle” does not work on weekends. This approach greatly overloads the body.
2. Choose only high quality alcohol. with alcoholic beverages the principle “less but better” is one of the most reliable. Only buy certified products in proven stores.
3. After each portion of alcohol, drink a glass of water without gas. often during the feast, we just forget to drink water, which is a big mistake! The fact is that alcohol promotes dehydration, so alternating wine with water, you will restore the balance of fluid and will help the body. Not to mention that in the morning after the holiday you will feel much better.
4. Do not mix the drinks. Yes, this old truth can actually help you. It is not necessary not to increase or to lower the degree – during the evening drink only the drink from which you started. And be especially careful with cocktails. If you love them, then mix them with quality ingredients. And try to choose recipes that require only one alcoholic ingredient and everything else – juices or soda water.
5. Follow what you eat. The perfect snack is a combination of slow carbohydrates and light proteins. For example, chicken or fish with vegetables, green salad and fresh herbs.
6. Stop drinking at least 3 hours before bedtime. Why is it important? Because at night the gastrointestinal tract should rest, it is simply not programmed to process alcohol at night (and at the same time heavy food). So, alcohol, drunk immediately before bedtime, is absorbed and excreted from the body more slowly. This is what causes a bad state of health in the morning. Are you going to go to bed at midnight? After 21.00 go to soft drinks.
