How to easily and quickly clean mushrooms from dirt

Mushroom pickers feel incredible excitement when they go through the forest and find mushrooms. One by one the bag is filled. The excitement from this only becomes greater. I want to find more and more mushrooms. There is a white one, somewhere a sycamore tree, a birch tree – there is nowhere to put it. And then the most interesting stage for every mushroom picker begins – processing everything found.

Quick way

Mushrooms have remnants of moss, needles, leaves, earth, sand. The standard method involves carefully scraping it all off with a knife by hand.

Try to follow the path of others. Take an ordinary sponge for washing dishes. Wipe the legs with the hard side. You will see that the routine business will move more quickly.

Don't forget that the film from the cap must be removed from buttermilk. If this is not done, these mushrooms will be bitter in dishes. The film is also cleaned from raw milkweed, but there are fewer complaints about it than about buttermilk. If some piece remains, it's okay. The skirt under the hat should be removed from the stumps, and the sand between the membranes must be carefully washed off from the chanterelles.
