How to easily cook meatballs with sauce

Meatballs are something that both adults and children love. They can be served with any side dish: porridge, pasta, potatoes. But do you know how to make them tender and juicy?

Ingredients:

  • minced meat (pork + beef) – 500 g
  • rice (boiled until half cooked) – 100 g
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • salt, pepper to taste

For the sauce:

  • tomato paste – 2 tbsp. l.
  • sour cream – 3 tbsp. l.
  • water – 200 ml
  • bay leaf – 1 pc.

Add an egg, finely chopped onion, rice, salt and pepper to the minced meat. Mix the mass thoroughly, form meatballs of the same size. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs until golden brown.

For the sauce, mix tomato paste, sour cream and water, add bay leaf and bring to a boil. Transfer the fried meatballs to the sauce and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. This sauce makes the meatballs tender and juicy.
