How to fall asleep faster: three simple tips from a somnologist
0
To fall asleep faster and get a good night's sleep it is not at all necessary to buy an expensive mattress or “high-tech pajamas”. It is enough to follow simple tips. Three of them were voiced by the American neurologist, somnologist Chris Winter. It's coolness in the room, compliance with the regime, a mini-meditation.
Temperature in the room
As Chris Winter told in an interview with Men's Health magazine, sometimes enough and the first of them is a decrease in the temperature in the bedroom before going to bed. Ventilation, coolness will help you fall asleep faster and sleep better.
Regulation compliance
The human body works better if you follow the regime. Having a constant schedule of going to sleep and waking up will program the brain, and insomnia can go away on its own. Some small household rituals before bed, such as brushing your teeth, are also useful for this.
Meditation
Chris Winter spoke about the results of one study in which people they gave me a hypnotic instruction to “sleep better”, and it really helped. The doctor advises to do something similar for yourself: repeat such a mantra for some time before falling asleep.
