How to “feed” peppers during flowering
0
The period that comes immediately after the beginning of pepper flowering is very difficult for garden crops. During these days, the plant is especially in need of important substances and elements. If you do not feed the pepper immediately after the formation of the first flowers, then you can not even dream of a good harvest.
The fact is that the risk of falling off the ovaries increases. This means that with a deficiency of compounds in the soil, few fully formed fruits will appear. Therefore, fertilizers must be applied on time. But novice gardeners are clearly interested in what kind of top dressing to use.
First top dressing
It is important to remember that the plant needs three main components at once: nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. If this is taken into account, the harvest will be abundant.
First, you will need a liquid product based on boric acid and granulated sugar. 5 grams of these ingredients per bucket of water.
The resulting mixture should be sprayed on the peppers. As a result, insects will appear on the bed that will pollinate the flowers. There will be no problems with the formation of fruits.
Second top dressing
In a few days, the peppers need to be fed again. This time, a different fertilizer is used.
Now the emphasis is on organic matter. It is necessary to prepare a nettle infusion. To do this, two volumes of plant matter and one volume of water are sent to the container.
It is advisable to use another ingredient – a little dry yeast.
The result will be an effective remedy that is a source of potassium and calcium.
