1
Experienced housewives have found a great way to fry capelin or any other small fish in a pan. With this method, there are no splashes of oil, dirty dishes, and you can fry the fish even without a lid. And even the smell of fried fish is not so bright.
So, we cook fried capelin in parchment paper. The fish browns well and turns out very tasty. I suggest you try this method too.
Preparation:
- Take the capelin, wash it well and dry it.
- Pour 100 g of flour and a pinch of salt into a plate.
- Roll the capelin in the salted flour on all sides.
- Spread parchment paper for baking on a board. And grease the entire area with vegetable oil.
- Place 6-7 fish on one half of the paper.
- Cover with the other half of the paper. We fold the edges tightly to make a closed envelope with the fish inside.
- I put the envelope with the fish in a dry frying pan and fry it for 5-6 minutes over low heat.
- Then we carefully turn the envelope to the other side and fry for another 5 minutes.
- We put the bag on a plate or board and carefully remove the fried fish.
I fry the rest of the capelin in the same way.
And no smell and splashes all over the kitchen. Be sure to try this method. The capelin turns out very tasty.
