How to get rid of neck pain with a simple exercise

Pain in the neck and a feeling of stiffness in the neck muscles bring great discomfort. The causes of neck pain can be different – from incorrect posture when working at the computer or while sleeping to a sports injury.
And if in the latter case you cannot do without the help of a doctor, then neck pain due to improper posture or an uncomfortable position during the work process, you can try to cope on your own. And, what is important, it will only take a couple of minutes every day.
- Straighten your back, carefully turn your head to the side – you should feel how the neck muscles stretch. You can gently help yourself with your hand, pressing your palm on your head.
Fix your head in this position for a few seconds, at the same time pull your shoulders down and pull your chin up. - Return to the starting position and repeat the same the movements themselves are in the other direction.
- Do this exercise for neck pain every day – set a reminder so you don't forget – and it is possible that gentle stretching will help get rid of the discomfort after a week.
