How to get rid of whiteflies in the greenhouse forever: two methods from experts
0
A question that worries absolutely all greenhouse owners. A small spoiler: it is impossible to get rid of the pest forever. The problem is that whiteflies can fly away from your neighbors imperceptibly for you. But it is always possible to reduce the population.
How to do it
After harvesting, take your time to remove the plants from the greenhouse. Leave them standing. A whitefly will fly to them. And here you can treat everything with strong insecticides. The pest will be destroyed in this way, and your plants can then be sent to compost or incineration.
Experts recommend also using an ecological method without the use of chemicals. Leave the greenhouse open all winter. Low temperatures will freeze everything and automatically destroy the pest. Just don't throw snow on the flower beds.
