The fact is that the secret of growing dill without umbrellas lies in certain planting rules. First of all, you need to process the seeds before planting. This is important. They should be soaked in warm water and gauze for three days. At the same time, you should change the liquid to a fresh one several times a day.

Then it is recommended to transfer the planting material to a damp cloth and wrap it. In this form, the seeds should lie for about five days. At the same time, the temperature in the room should not fall below 20 degrees Celsius.

This is necessary not only for disinfection of the seed material, but also for faster germination. As soon as sprouts appear, you can proceed to sowing.

However, before that, you need to dry the seeds. They should be left in a well-ventilated room for at least half an hour.

The beds should be moistened beforehand. Dill should not be planted in rows, but in piles to a depth of 10 centimeters.

As summer residents note, if you use this method, the bushes will grow softer, fluffier and more fragrant. In the case of early sowing, umbrellas will appear just before the season of closing conservation, and all summer the greens will grow steadily and delight the eye of the summer resident.
