Anyone who wants young green onions definitely needs this growing plan. It will help organize a small onion plantation on the windowsill. You won't need soil, and the improvised bed itself will be light and attractive.
Green onion growing plan
First, you need to prepare a container that is comfortable, but the walls should be low. Cover with plastic wrap and pour a 2 cm layer of sawdust over it. Pour boiling water over it. This will help moisten the sawdust and disinfect it.
The bulbs for planting need to be cut on top. Place them tightly together. The cut remains on top.
The container with the onions should be placed in a warm and bright place. Of course, a windowsill is ideal for this. Check periodically to make sure the sawdust remains moist. Fresh green onions will grow in 2-3 weeks.
