How to grow roses from a bouquet

< /p>

A bouquet of roses will decorate any home and become a source of pleasant aroma. However, it will not last long. Sooner or later, signs of wilting will appear. But you should not be upset. After all, you can get new flowers based on the bouquet. To achieve such a result, it is necessary to collect the cuttings and stick them into the soil. Of course, you need to follow a number of recommendations, which are mentioned below.

Preparation of cuttings and soil

First you need to prepare the stems. Cut them so that there is a place at the bottom that is higher than the first outer bud.

The upper limit of the stem should be the area in front of the highest leaf.

Now it is necessary to proceed to the preparation of the soil. The soil mass should consist of equal volumes of sand, sod and sheet soil.

All this should be disinfected with a solution of potassium permanganate.

Planting cuttings

Stems should be stuck in a pot with the soil in such a way that the plant is buried 5 centimeters deep. Each petiole must be protected by a jar, simply placing the last one upside down so that the stem is inside.

After that, the container is installed in a room where there is a light source and the temperature remains high at all times.

Further care

Plant and soil should be watered regularly. Moreover, the liquid should be moderately warm: too cold and too hot water is not needed.

After approximately 30 days, the glass containers can be completely removed. With the onset of the spring period, the plant is transplanted into the open ground.
