1
Not all summer residents are used to using ordinary soda on the plot, because they do not consider it an effective remedy. But this is a mistake. With the help of this inexpensive powder, you can significantly increase the yield of currants.
How to use soda correctly
Incorporating it into the soil
Soda helps bring the acidity of the soil to a neutral level. Therefore, at the beginning of the season, it is customary to apply five tablespoons of soda per square meter. Don't forget to loosen the soil afterwards.
It is better to carry out the procedure simultaneously with pruning.
For a rich harvest
At the time of berries formation, it makes sense to apply special top dressing. To do this, you need to dilute only 30 grams of soda in a bucket of warm water.
After the powder has dissolved, you can start watering.
Only 0.5 liters are needed for one currant bush.
Disease prevention and protection from pests
On a regular basis, you should use a special composition of the protective mixture for spraying. To do this, you need to take half a bar of laundry soap, grate it and dilute it in hot water. The volume of the liquid should be two liters.
Then pour in one hundred grams of soda. The product should be at room temperature. Then pour the liquid into a bucket, add eight liters of water and stir.
After that, you can start spraying.
