How to live longer: named a simple product for longevity

It is known that for longevity not only genetics, but also diet. Scientists believe that eating a balanced diet can help you live several years longer.
While there are many healthy foods, studies show that eating nuts and seeds is associated with a lower risk of death from all causes.< /p>
According to scientific work, these foods are able to support the health of blood vessels, as well as reduce the risk of developing heart disease.
All this is due to the type of polyunsaturated fats found in nuts and seeds, – alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Chia seeds, flax, soybeans, walnuts and pecans contain the most ALA.
During the work, scientists analyzed the results of 41 studies that assessed the risk of mortality in participants who ate ALA. In total, data on the health of 120,000 people between the ages of 18 and 98 were studied.
Experts also took into account other risk factors, such as weight and bad habits. As a result, the researchers came to the conclusion that the consumption of foods with a high content of ALA reduces the risk of death from all causes by up to 11%, and the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases by at least 5%.
